BEGINNERS INFO – AGE GROUPS

Peterborough Jiu Jitsu provides programming for ages eight and up. We offer an age-specific curriculum for each age group.

Juniors (ages 8 to 12 years)

Classes are 60 minutes in duration twice a week and participants are free to choose how often they train. Progression is obviously quicker for those who train regularly twice a week.

Youth (ages 12 to 16 years)

Classes are 75 minutes in duration twice a week and participants are free to choose how often they train. Progression is obviously quicker for those who train regularly twice a week.

Adults (ages 16 years and up)

Classes are 90 minutes in duration and offered three a week. Participants are free to choose how often they train, although progression is obviously quicker for those who train regularly two or three times a week.
